Synthetic pentadecapeptide (gastric peptide fragment)
A 15-amino-acid sequence with a large, remarkably consistent animal literature, almost all of it from a small affiliated research network, and no completed human trial reporting results.
Growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analogue
A GHRH analogue with early human pharmacokinetic data and no efficacy programme. The DAC and non-DAC versions are pharmacologically very different and are constantly conflated.
